Disney's monorail connects Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to the Ticket Center and three monorail-line resorts (Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian). The Skyliner connects EPCOT and Hollywood Studios to Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Riviera. They cover parks and select resorts — not the airport.

If Magic Kingdom is your priority day, book a 7:30 AM arrival with your driver. Rope drop — the moment the park opens — is when walkways empty and the most popular rides have minimal waits. The first 60 minutes are the most valuable minutes of the entire day.
The Skyliner (gondola system) is quick and scenic, but it closes during high-wind weather and thunderstorms — without warning. If you're using it to connect EPCOT or Hollywood Studios to your resort, have a backup plan (Uber or private car) for the return trip.
The monorail from Magic Kingdom back to the Ticket Center can hit 40–60 minute waits at park close — and the line at the parking-lot tram stacks up too. A private car waiting at the bell desk is the cleanest exit after a long day, especially with tired kids and bags.
